Ship Shape Express LLC is hiring an experienced Auto Transport Coordinator to manage customer vehicle shipments across the United States. This role focuses on customer communication, quoting open and enclosed transport, and coordinating carriers from booking to delivery.
Candidates must have prior experience in the auto transport industry and be comfortable working directly with customers.
Responsibilities
- Speak with customers requesting vehicle transport
- Quote open and enclosed shipping
- Convert inquiries into booked orders
- Post loads on Central Dispatch and Super Dispatch
- Coordinate with carriers for pickup and delivery
- Negotiate rates and confirm availability
- Manage BOL and shipment documentation
- Track shipments and update customers
- Handle multiple active orders
Requirements
- 3+ years auto transport industry experience
- Broker-side experience preferred
- Carrier-side experience accepted
- Experience with U.S. vehicle shipping
- Knowledge of open vs enclosed pricing
- Familiar with Central Dispatch or Super Dispatch
- Understanding of BOL process
- Strong customer communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
